The investment objective of the Fund is long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its objective by investing 80% of its net assets in equity securities of telecommunications companies in emerging countries. The remaining assets of the fund will be invested in equity securities of companies that provide other essential services in the development of an emerging countrys infrastructure. The equity securities in which the Fund invests may include common stock, preferred stock, warrants and convertible debt securities.
