The primary investment objective of the fund is to seek a high level of current income. The investment approach is driven by a strong value oriented philosophy. The Fund may seek to achieve its objectives by investing in a diversified portfolio consisting of debt securities that the Adviser believes offers attractive yield and capital appreciation potential. The fund may invest at least 50% of its total assets in below investment grade securities and 30% in equity securities in both domestic and foreign issuers.
