It is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund seeks current income exempt from federal income tax. The Fund will invest at least 80% of assets in a portfolio of municipal obligations that are covered by insurance contracts and guaranteed with respect to timely payment of principal and interest. The Fund will invest 20% of assets in municipal obligations backed by escrow accounts. The Fund will leverage its assets through the issuance of preferred stock.
