The investment objective of the Fund is to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of an index that tracks the intermediate term 1-10 years sector of the United States investment bond market. The Fund uses a passive management strategy designed to track the price and yield of the Barclays Capital U.S. Intermediate Credit Index. The Index measures the performance of the intermediate term sector of the United States investment bond market, which as defined by the Intermediate Credit Index includes investment grade corporate debt, sovereign, supranational, local authority and non U.S. agency bonds.
